Senior Strategist - BrandJuice

To provide leadership to BrandJuice projects and services by providing value-added strategic thinking and leadership during client engagements.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will have 6-8+ years’ experience in a creative or marketing agency environment.

  • Expertise and desire to create reports/presentations from start to finish; drawing on trends, competitive analysis and research to create grounded insights.
  • Experience designing, executing, and synthesizing data from consumer research to highlight the actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that requires multi-tasking across multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Must be comfortable providing strategic direction and recommendations directly to high-level clients, vendors, and team members; must be able to present a strategic point of view on project related questions.
  • Must be able to work independently and in teams to develop strategic deliverables; strong writing skills and a desire to create the work are mandatory.

Key Accountabilities

The Senior Strategist creates strategic deliverables and provides vital project leadership to ensure exceptional engagement experiences and client satisfaction.

 

LEADING CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS

  • Client Service – Provide exceptional client service by being the key day-to-day contact to clients during engagements. Builds relationships with clients to promote and provide additional services.
  • Thought Leader – Establish client conviction in our approach and confidence in our outcomes by coaching both internal and client teams on various BrandJuice service offerings.
  • Strategic Thinker – Develop, design, and plan projects for the unique needs of individual clients. Ensure that all plan elements are supporting overall project objectives and providing value add results to the client.
  • Project Manager – Ensure the accurate execution of all services, in order to provide strong and actionable recommendations to clients. Ensure team, contractors, and vendors are delivering on time, on budget, and on strategy, while inspiring others to produce excellent results. Manage budgets to profitability and timely invoicing.
  • Process Leader – Act as a BrandJuice process expert, being able to coach clients and internal teams to execute projects effectively. Customize tactics and approaches along the way to anticipate client needs and match the business situation of the client.

 

Travel

Senior Strategists may travel locally and nationally; may include some international travel per project needs.

GROWING THE COMPANY

  • Repeat Business Development– Identifies and books repeat business with current clients by identifying client needs, getting internal referrals and supporting new business pitches.
  • Proposal Writing Designs and writes proposals to answer prospect and current client needs. Assists in presentation of proposals. Achieves a minimum of 60% proposals closed.

 

IMPROVING THE COMPANY

  • Process Improvement and Capability Building – Proactively takes on the development of systems and tools that will refine and improve the BrandJuice capabilities and services. Contributes to company growth projects that help BrandJuice extend its ability to serve additional clients.
  • Professional Development of Team– Assists in interviewing and deciding to hire new team members. Also takes initiative to improve teams through mentoring, training, and general professional development.
