Develops and administers the agency’s marketing programs while activating lead generation strategies to acquire, nurture, and convert through sales tactics and digital automation.


Qualified applicants must have 5+ years’ experience in marketing and business development role in an agency/professional services setting. Experience in lead generation and marketing project management is mandatory. Specifically, candidates have:

  • Successfully managed business development and lead generation programs and reports
  • Deep experience developing and activating digital marketing plans with a variety of tools, including SEM, SEO, Email, Display, Retargeting, Affiliate, Social Media, WordPress, Google Adwords & Analytics
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Confidence to present ideas and recommendations
  • Top-notch creative and editorial writing skills
  • Experience extending program management to external relationships with key agency partners
  • Proven ability to optimize testing platforms and protocols to profitably achieve acquisition targets (Cost-per-Inquiry (CPI), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Cost-per-Acquisition (CPA)
  • Proven ability to map customer navigation paths in order to drive online engagement and conversion
  • Google Analytics certification

Key Accountabilities

This role demands a confident and energetic professional with skills in all aspects of marketing, sales and website management with an emphasis on new account engagement initiatives to convert leads. You will work collaboratively throughout the agency to develop and deploy solutions that have measurable and strategic impact on our brand and new business.



  • Develop, execute and measure the agency’s new business development plan
  • Research, identify, acquire, and grow both inbound and outbound leads
  • Outreach to prospects via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings, presenting agency capabilities
  • Generate metrics to evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead gen and close rates
  • Manage and maintain the agency’s CRM and marketing automation platform, ensuring it is both relevant and up to date, including the maintenance of new business leads
  • Manage the process and support the creation of new business proposals, pitch decks, capabilities and other agency marketing collateral
  • Monitor professional service business developments, innovations, and changes in the market; make recommendations for initiatives or updates to processes and marketing assets
  • Understand and keep up-to-date with developments in the agency’s core industries/markets
  • Maximize internal and external networking opportunities to increase agency awareness and develop a network of contacts
  • Review general activity of business development initiatives; create recommendations and propose next steps for improving business development process


  • Lead the planning, development and execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving and collaborating with internal teams and processes (i.e., direct content development and distribution for agency’s thought leadership tools including newsletter and blog, support agency initiatives including event series planning, logistics and execution)
  • Drive digital content marketing efforts to meet goals for increased awareness, traffic growth, lead generation and sales enablement
  • Identify compelling industry and customer topics and manage production of case studies, videos, white papers, briefs, blog posts, infographics, landing pages, newsletters, etc.
  • Create digital campaigns and templates to ensure optimal conversion rates and usability
  • Create and execute content roadmap and editorial calendars
  • Develop compelling content for a variety of audiences across core client industries and service areas
  • Manage agency website development team partners, site updates, content, analytics and optimization
  • Grow traffic to website through use of SEO and PPC tactics; audit and optimize at regular intervals to ensure high SERP ranking (URLs, Image Tags, H Tags, Meta Information)
  • Direct thought leadership and lead gen strategies for agency’s social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Drive innovation and testing, provide strategic guidance and data-driven recommendations for digital marketing campaigns
